La Verne Medical Group & Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our established, high-volume urgent care practice in La Verne, California.

This position is ideal for a PA who is comfortable working independently within a collaborative physician-led environment and managing a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric acute-care conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric urgent care patients
• Diagnose and manage common acute illnesses and injuries
• Order and interpret laboratory testing, EKGs, and X-rays
• Perform laceration repair and suturing
• Perform incision and drainage, wound care, splinting, foreign-body removal, and other common urgent-care procedures
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate patient education
• Recognize patients requiring escalation of care or emergency-department referral
• Complete timely and accurate EHR documentation
• Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and support staff to maintain efficient patient flow
