CAPA Hands-On Workshop: Mastering Musculoskeletal Injections - Orange County

Description

Orthopedic pain due to acute injury or overuse are very common. Treatment of these injuries if delayed can lead to ongoing pain, poor quality of life and worse outcomes for the patient. PAs in multiple specialties benefit when they have confidence in managing common orthopedic injuries.

Learning Objectives

  • To become more confident with musculoskeletal anatomy
  • To recognized when musculoskeletal injections may be beneficial
  • To become more confident performing musculoskeletal injections

Learning Outcomes

  • PAs will be refreshed on their anatomy leading to more accurate diagnosis
  • PAs will feel more comfortable providing and array or musculoskeletal injections.
  • Non-orthopedic specialty PAs will be more confident in managing common orthopedic injuries and ailments

This activity has been reviewed by the American Academy of Physician Associates Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 3 AAPA Category 1 CME credits.
